Knife robbery

By Lia Bichel
POLICE have released images of a man they want to speak to in relation to two armed robberies in Springvale.
Police said at about 1.45am on Saturday 29 May, a man walked into the BP service station in Springvale Road, Springvale.
He approached the counter and asked for several packets of cigarettes. After they had been scanned, it is alleged that the man produced a knife and demanded money from the attendant.
The man is described as about 182cm tall, aged 24 to 25 years, of solid build, wearing brown shorts, a blue and black checked top, black and white shoes and a black baseball cap.
Police believe that 20 minutes later, the same man, along with three other men, were involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Heatherton Road, Springvale South.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
