POLICE are appealing for information about an armed robbery in Noble Park.
A man was walking alone on Leonard Avenue, Noble Park, at 12.50am on 9 March when a silver coloured sedan pulled up and three men got out.
One of the men, described as of dark skinned African appearance, allegedly punched the man and he fell to the ground.
The attacker demanded his wallet and mobile phone and when he refused, he kicked him and threatened him with a knife.
The two other men also assaulted him before they drove off.
The man’s stolen credit card was used by a Caucasian man at a car wash later than day on South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne.
Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist them and an image of a silver sedan.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
