Cars to sell online

THE RECENT collapse of one of Australia’s largest car sales groups in which Dandenong employees lost their jobs has sparked an unusual promotion.
Cars from collapsed Auto Group Limited will be auctioned online as part of a plan to recover finances to give to creditors.
Auto Group owned and operated the Dandenong Suzuki on the Princes Highway, Dandenong, but collapsed mid-February after unsustainable financial losses.
About 10 employees at Dandenong Suzuki lost their jobs as a result of the collapse, many angry because they were left out in the cold.
The online auction of more than 100 new and used cars will be conducted through Grays Online and begins today (Thursday), with bidding starting as low as $9 on vehicles with estimated market values of up to $50,000.
Visit www.graysonline.com.au to participate in the bidding frenzy.
