RESIDENTS can take a walking tour of Dandenong this month to discover the city’s points of interest.
The City of Greater Dandenong is running the next tour on Saturday, 25 August beginning at 10.30am.
Tours take about two hours to complete and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Greater Dandenong mayor Youhorn Chea encouraged residents to explore what their city had to offer.
“Greater Dandenong is truly a world in a city and is home to a diverse mix of cultures, religions and races,” Cr Chea said.
“This makes for an interesting place to live, with many cultural landmarks and a rich history to discover.”
The tour departs from Dandenong RSL, 44-50 Clow Street, Dandenong.
