Women hijack good Samaritan

TWO women have hijacked the car of a Dandenong man who attempted to help them.
Police investigating the incident are now calling for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Police said at 8pm on Friday a 26-year-old Dandenong man was approached by two women in Lons-dale Street, Dandenong, who claimed they needed help. The man offered them a lift and after being directed to several locations around Dandenong became suspicious of the women’s intentions.
Police said he stopped the car in Cleeland Street and asked the women to get out, but they refused.
The man then got out of the car and opened the front passenger door.
Police said the front seat passenger produced a knife while the woman in the back seat jumped into the driver’s seat.
The women then drove the car, a white 1990 Ford Laser south down Cleeland Street, leaving the man behind.
He received a minor injury to his elbow during the incident.
The women have been described as Caucasian and in their 20s.
One of the women was wearing a black jacket, T-shirt and trousers with long brown hair that was tied back.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or contact the website on at www.crimestoppers.com.au.
