Attempted robbery

POLICE are seeking information concerning an attempted robbery in Noble Park on Thursday last week.
Dandenong Detective Rick Mokos said a local man was walking from Sandown Park station carrying a laptop in a shoulder bag when he was approached by a group of youths.
“As he approached the intersection of Lorne Road and Cranham Street in Noble Park, five males between the ages of 16 and 18 assaulted him,” Detective Mokos said. “He described four of them as having Asian appearance, and the other of an islander appearance.”
Detective Mokos said the man was able to escape and reported the incident to Springvale police.
