Hardcore music fest

By Bridget Cook
THE Castle in Dandenong will host a huge hardcore music event for youths aged 12 to 25 years.
Better Late Than Never, organised by Dandenong Youth Services Momentum FReeZA and Muso Network committees, is set to bring together some of Australia’s biggest hardcore bands.
The event will be the last show in Australia until mid next year for House Vs Hurricane, who are going to the United States to record their album.
Other bands set to perform at the show include City Escape, Nazerite Vow, Trophy Knife and I Explode Like.
Those who attend are encouraged to dress up in Christmas or Halloween costumes for the chance to win prizes.
Greater Dandenong Youth Services Worker Mark Carter said the committees were really excited about the event and certain the night was going to be a huge success.
“This huge line-up is a guaranteed sell-out,” he said.
It is a fully supervised and drug, alcohol and smoke-free event.
The event will be held on Friday 6 November from 7 to 11pm at The Castle, Princes Highway Dandenong.
Cost per ticket is $10 which can be purchased pre-sale at the Drum Theatre box office or at the door, if there are tickets left.
