Two injured in bottle brawl

A WOMAN had her nose broken and a security guard suffered head injuries when they were hit with glasses and bottles in Springvale South on Sunday morning.
Police said at about 10.45am on 10 January, a group of about 12 people and two children were in the gaming room at Waltzing Matilda when staff asked them to leave because the children were underage.
Police said the group began throwing glasses and bottles when the staff tried to take them away. One woman received a broken nose and was taken to Monash Hospital for treatment.
A security guard also suffered head injuries after he was hit with a bottle.
The group of 12 people, who left the scene on foot, are described as being of Asian appearance.
