POLICE are investigating an armed robbery in Noble Park which occurred early Wednesday morning.
Police said a 20-year-old Noble Park man was walking west on Noble Street between Frank Street and Alfred Street shortly after midnight when two men approached him from behind.
One of the men allegedly struck the 20-year-old with a weapon then chased him down the street.
The two men hit the man with a weapon to his head and body and stole his lap top bag which contained a computer. The Noble Park man took himself to the Dandenong hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The attackers are described to be between 15 and 17 years old and Caucasian.
One of the men was wearing a white hooded windcheater and the other a black hooded windcheater.
