GREATER Dandenong residents are encouraged to apply for the 2010/11 Victorian Veterans Council Grants Program by September.
The program includes the Anzac Day Proceeds Fund and the Victorian Veterans Fund and provides support to the veteran community through the funding of a range of welfare support, commemorative and education initiatives.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP Inga Peulich said grants of up to $50,000 were available through two funding streams.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, 6 September 2010.
