DANDENONG resident Geraldine Gonsalvez has been named a Democratic Labor Party Senate candidate.
“I am proud to be a candidate for a party that fought hard to successfully throw out and put a stop to the White Australia policy years ago opening the doors to coloured and Asian migration that has made it possible presently for people like me to proudly and lovingly call Australia home,” she said.
“The newly revived Democratic Labor Party of Victoria pretty much gave us the lifestyle we enjoy but take for granted today.
“I will advance the interests of families, workers and life. I stand in defence of truth, life, democracy, decency, dignity and justice.”
