Pool’s open for swim talent

O’DOHERTY’S swimming team will host an open day at its North Lodge Swimming Academy at 10am on March 18.

Club president Matthew Muir encouraged anyone aged 6-15 and capable of swimming 25 metres or more to come and try competitive swimming.

Entry will cost $5 a swimmer. Swimmers should bring in an extra towel as there will be multiple competitions on the day.

The 25-year-old club has hosted swimmers across all levels. “With many schools having their school swimming competitions on at the moment, we thought it would be an excellent time to invite swimmers along who would like to take their swimming to the next level,” Muir said.

North Lodge Swimming Academy is at 137-139 Stud Road, Dandenong.
