Long-term library plan for Springvale

GREATER Dandenong Council’s Springvale offices, which will be vacated for the central Dandenong civic centre project, would become home to a state-of-the-art library, chief executive John Bennie said last week.

The project is slated for 2017-18. The council’s Clow Street offices in Dandenong would also be retained and be home to facilities that complemented the neighbouring Dandenong Market.
