Two arrested after daring kidnapping

POLICE are investigating a car-jacking and kidnapping at the Heatherton and Gladstone roads intersection in Dandenong, which occurred about 8.40pm on Saturday 4 May.
They arrested two 36-year-old men, from Noble Park and South Morang, at a home in Bluff Road, Highett, the following day but no charges have been laid.
Police said a man and two women were stationary at the lights in a white Nissan Skyline coupe when a car rammed into them.
Two men got out of the car, approached the Skyline and assaulted the three occupants.
It’s alleged the two men then kidnapped the man and stole the Skyline, leaving the two women at the scene with minor injuries.
Police found the 31-year-old victim at a home on Beach Road, Beaumaris, about 11.20am on 5 May. He was uninjured.
The Skyline was recovered from the Highett address.
Investigators believe the people involved in this incident are known to each other. They urged anyone with information to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
