STUDENTS at St Mary’s Primary School in Dandenong received a visit from McDonald’s Camp Quality Puppets last week.
They learnt about the importance of providing support to others returning to school after treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses.
Kylie, Dean and Melissa, the new stars of the show, helped children get a better understanding of what cancer and other serious illnesses were all about through fun and laughter.
“The McDonald’s Camp Quality Puppets have been spreading their essential message since 1988,” McDonald’s Dandenong licensee Kerri Mitchell said.
“Thanks to the show, primary school students now have a better understanding of what it means when someone has a serious illness and how to support them.”
Camp Quality national program manager Angie Grant said the program reached more than 200,000 children every year.
