Injuries mount in fight case

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fight in a Dandenong hotel car park on Tuesday that left a man in hospital with a leg wound.
The 25-year-old walked into the Princes Highway venue’s reception area just after 11am on 8 October.
A staff member offered assistance and called Triple-zero.
An ambulance took the man to hospital with non life-threatening injuries, and he was placed under police guard for an unrelated matter.
A police vehicle travelling to the scene was involved in a collision with a van at the intersection of Stud Road and Herbert Street.
The van’s driver was not injured. The police vehicle’s driver received minor arm injuries and the passenger suffered a small cut to their cheek.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the hotel incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
