Unlikely flying objects
A DOVETON resident says UFO sightings in the night sky have been a prank by locals, claiming he saw fire balloons coming out of a reserve near the alleged sightings.Chris Howarth told the Journal that on Friday 17 September – the same night reports were made by Dandenong North residents – he was making a delivery in Trewin Street, Dandenong South, when he saw small fireballs rising from Andrews Reserve. As reported in the Journal, the Victorian UFO Society has received dozens of reported UFO sightings in Dandenong North, Noble Park North and Ferntree Gully. Callers have described the UFOs as firey orange balls which hover, then race across the night sky at great speed.
