HARRISFIELD Primary students have dressed as their future selves to raise more than $260 for The Kids’ Cancer Project.
The Noble Park school took part in the foundation’s I Want 2 Be Day on 28 February to raise awareness of childhood cancer and vital funds for research programs.
The kids donated a gold coin to dress as what they want to be when they grow up, in support of friends and classmates who might never get the chance.
Harrisfield’s junior school councillors organised the event which brought in $267 from the school’s 242 kids.
