Cut throat threat

THIEVES threatened to slit a man’s throat as he walked along James Street in Dandenong.
The victim, 18, from Dandenong, was walking along the street about 10.40pm on 28 February when two men approached and demanded his cigarettes, cash and mobile phone.
One produced a large glass bottle and told the victim he would slit his throat if he didn’t comply.
Police arrested the pair not far from the scene and charged a 16-year-old from Hampton Park and a 20-year-old from Dandenong with attempted armed robbery.
