MORE than 120 people have signed a petition asking for “traffic calming measures” in Sylvia Street, Dandenong North.
The document, tabled at the 14 April City of Greater Dandenong council meeting, urged action to stop speeding cars and trucks in the street.
Engineering services director Bruce Rendall said the council would conduct an assessment, traffic counts and consultation before adding the issue to a priority list for action.
