A NOBLE Park man will answer charges over an alleged machete attack in Springvale on the weekend.
Police were called to the Waltzing Matilda Hotel, corner of Heatherton and Springvale roads, about 12.20am on Saturday morning.
A Springvale South man, 35, was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with cuts to his arm.
Police arrested and charged a 39-year-old man with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing serious injury, assault with a weapon and possessing a weapon, namely a machete.
He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 9 October.
