HOMICIDE Squad detectives are investigating a man’s death in Prior Road, Noble Park.
A passing motorist found a body in the middle of the quiet street about 10.20pm yesterday (Thursday).
Police initially believed a car had struck the victim, who is yet to be formally identified, but are now treating the death as suspicious.
Neighbours heard car doors slamming and a shouted conversation about 10pm.
Police urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
