Drivers on the road to travel disruption

MOTORISTS could encounter delays on the South Gippsland Freeway in coming weeks.
VicRoads is conducting annual road resurfacing works between 9pm and 4.30am daily, except Fridays and Saturdays.
Workers will lay and compact asphalt and refresh line marking to produce a smoother surface and preserve the road’s longevity, meaning less maintenance in the future.
VicRoads said the work was being carried out during the warmer months to ensure the best quality finish.
The South Gippsland Freeway will be closed northbound from South Gippsland Highway to Princes Highway until 21 January.
From Thursday 22 to Monday 26 January, it will be closed northbound between Princes Highway and Monash Freeway.
On Thursday 27 January, the South Gippsland Freeway will be closed southbound between the Monash Freeway and Princes Highway.
