A DELIBERATELY lit toaster fire sparked police and CFA attendance in Dandenong.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Glen Cruse said a residential care facility patron set a toaster alight about 8.20pm on 26 February.
CFA crews extinguished the blaze, which caused a small amount of damage to the Scott Street premise’s kitchen.
Sgt Cruse said charges over the incident were pending.
