Man beaten after robbery

A MAN has been punched and kicked and had his phone stolen in a brutal robbery in Springvale.
The 19-year-old victim, from Clayton, was walking along Osborne Avenue around 11.30pm when he was approached by two men near the Springvale RSL who demanded his phone.
One of the men grabbed the victim’s mobile while the other punched him in the head.
The victim was then kicked by both men as he fell to the ground, suffering cuts to his face.
The attackers were seen leaving in a black sedan.
