Plenty to say

By CASEY NEILL

KATE Weiss has made the journey from surviving to thriving and is sharing her secrets in Springvale.
The Table of Plenty founder will be the keynote speaker at SEBN’s Showcasing Women breakfast at Highways, from 7am to 9am on Friday 24 July.
A search for innovative food solutions following the birth of her daughter with a disability led Ms Weiss to start Table of Plenty in 2006.
Major supermarkets now stock 18 of her products and the company now has a turnover close to $10 million – and a vision to double that in the next two years.
Ms Weiss won the 2014 Telstra National Business Woman of the Year title, provides work for people with disabilities and wants to inspire a move towards a healthy and authentic way of living.
The event is $55 per person or $500 for a table of 10.
RSVP by Monday 20 July to sebn@cgd.vic.gov.au or PO Box 200, Dandenong 3175.
