Industrial estate on horizon

AUSTLANDER Developments has paid $5.69 million for an infill site in Keysborough with plans for an industrial estate in its sights.
The 5.66 hectare allotment at 241 Perry Road is zoned Industrial 1 and adjoins the Key Industrial Park.
Savills Australia brokered the deal and senior executive Paul Jones said Austlander would seek to subdivide the land into 29 lots of 1000 square metres and two of 7000 square metres.
“This is a prime industrial development site, adjacent to a successful and very popular industrial estate with excellent access to Greens Road and EastLink,” Mr Jones said.
“Add the location in the midst of one of the south-east’s key industrial precincts and it could hardly be better placed for an industrial subdivision.”
Mr Jones said Austlander was confident an industrial subdivision would attract tenants given the south-east’s status as one of Australia’s fastest growing regions and the region’s well-established reputation as a key industrial precinct.
