A DANDENONG man disturbed an early-morning thief in his Market Street home.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said the thief entered the home via a front window about 4am on Monday 15 February.
He stole one pack of 40 cigarettes and a keyring with house, garage and car keys.
She said the victim woke up during the burglary and got out of bed in time to see the thief flee through the window.
He was described as African in appearance, about 16 years old and 185 centimetres tall and was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
