Youth Week
CITY of Greater Dandenong Youth Services will celebrate National Youth Week with a range of fun activities and competitions.
There will be a breakdancing jam and rap showcase, and fun game challenges including sack races, tug of war, volleyball, basketball and more.
The Noble Park Skate Park will also host the YMCA South Eastern Skate League Competition, featuring scooter, BMX and skateboard riders, from 10.30am-4.30pm.
National Youth Week 2016 runs from 8-17 April and celebrates the positive contributions young people make.

Sports Fest
FAMILY fun is also on offer with the City of Greater Dandenong’s annual Sports Fest, which encourages families to find new ways to get active in their own community.
The event features everything from sports and interactive games, to recreational activities, a kids’ area, jumping castle, and live dance performances.
Food and market stalls will also operate across the reserve.
Visitors can enjoy free entry to the Noble Park Aquatic Centre during Sports Fest, which runs from 11am-2pm.

View club
PETER (Bubba) Whitefield from God’s Squad Bikkie Club will be the next guest speaker at the Springvale Evening View Club.
He wanders among the Homeless in the Laneways and Streets of Melbourne, speaking to them and helping them. Anyone interested in the topic or in joining the club is welcome to attend.

Air-dried clay sculptures
EXPLORE how to make small sculptures for the garden out of air-dried clay.
Kids aged eight to 13 years can learn the ceramic techniques to make a creature, take the creations straight home and paint them when they’re dry.

Trash Test Dummies
THESE children’s presenters invite audiences to take a fresh look at the humble household wheelie bin.
They’ll also host circus skills workshops in juggling, plate spinning, human pyramids, hula hooping, acrobatics and more.
