Slick soccer move to celebrate diversity

By CASEY NEILL

A soccer tournament will celebrate Refugee Week in Dandenong.
Connection Gallery has teamed up with AMES, ERMHA and Life Without Barriers to host the Multi Colour Cup.
“Our aim is to reach the youth in the community in a soccer tournament and arts event,” gallery executive director Andrew Duong said.
“We will have two tournaments, male and female ages 14-plus, as well as art activities, musicians, dancers and more.
“A major part of this is connecting youth to creative platforms including our own organisation and supportive organisations.”
The Multi Colour Cup will run from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 25 June at Pop Up Park in Foster Street, Dandenong, opposite Dandenong railway station.
Call Mr Duong on 0403 202 639 or email andrewduong4@gmail.com to get involved.
