Two women armed with a screwdriver robbed a Dandenong ATM user.
Greater Dandenong CIU Sergeant Dean Hedge said the victim parked his Mazda 3 sedan in front of the Lonsdale Street Westpac bank branch about 1.50am on Thursday 29 December.
He withdrew cash from the ATM and returned to his car.
A woman then reached in through his open window and tried to grab his keys.
He put them in his pocket and the woman produced a screwdriver and struck him in the chest.
Meanwhile, another woman opened the passenger door and stole the victim’s iPhone 6.
Sgt Hedge said the women were driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser with two different coloured doors on driver’s side.
One was described as Caucasian and 167 centimetres tall with a solid build and a large tattoo over her left shoulder to her bicep. She was carrying a black handbag with a strap.
The second woman was African in appearance and about 167 cm tall.
