Dandenong’s Drum Theatre will screen award-winning short films straight from the St Kilda Film Festival.
Australia’s oldest publicly-owned film festival ended on 27 May, but is hitting the road on an eight-week tour.
It will conclude at the Drum on Friday 25 August.
Two programs will screen at each destination – the Award Winners program, showcasing films voted the best in their category at the closing night ceremony, and the Director’s Choice program handpicked by festival director Paul Harris.
The St Kilda Film Festival is an Academy Awards qualifying event, with the winners of this year’s Best Short Film and Best Documentary now eligible for consideration in the Oscars short film and Oscars documentary shorts award categories.
