Man and boy face charges over robbery spree

A Dandenong boy and a Noble Park man will answer theft and robbery charges over alleged Bayside incidents.
Glen Eira-Bayside and Kingston CIU detectives charged the 16-year-old and the 18-year-old over alleged motor vehicle thefts between 21 and 23 November on Myrtle Avenue in Hampton, Canberra Grove in Brighton East, and Panorama Avenue in Hampton East.
Police also believe the pair was involved in alleged armed robberies and robberies between 25 and 29 November on Sandringham Road in Sandringham, Railway Parade in Highett, and Tweed Street and Wickham Road in Hampton East.
The boy was remanded to appear in a children’s court and the man was charged and remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
