Police allegedly found the drug ice during a routine police check in Springvale.
Springvale Police Station members performed the check on a vehicle travelling on Westall Road about 2pm on Monday 11 December.
A vehicle search allegedly revealed a quantity of methylamphetamine, known as ice, and a large quantity of cash.
Police arrested and charged a woman from Carrum Downs with possessing a drug of dependence.
She will appear before a magistrate in February.
They also arrested and charged a 58-year-old Springvale man in relation to trafficking methylamphetamine.
He was remanded in custody to appear later this month.
