Our manufacturing winners revealed

A Greater Dandenong manufacturing trailblazer has won a new state award.

Actco-Pickering Metal Industries was named the joint inaugural winner of the Woman Manufacturer of the Year on Monday 28 May.

Dandenong South yogurt producer Chobani and Dandenong train and tram manufacturer Bombardier also took home nods from the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards, held at the Crown Palladium.

Chobani received the Food and Fibre Award and Bombardier was the Transport Award-winner.
