Police raid nets stolen Audi, rare motorbike

Greater Dandenong CIU detectives have seized allegedly stolen property including an Audi vehicle and a rare racing motorbike during a raid of a Noble Park North residence.

The Audi was allegedly stolen in a burglary in Balaclava in August, the bike from a burglary in Ashwood, police say.

The raid was part of an investigation into numerous deceptions involving stolen credit cards, Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said.

A 46-year-old Noble Park North man was arrested at the scene. He has so far been charged with 29 offences, including theft, obtaining property by deception and handling stolen goods.

As part of the raid, police made “subsequent enquiries” and also seized stolen car parts from a neighbouring unit.

A 25-year old man, who occupied the unit, was wanted on several outstanding arrest warrants. He was charged with vehicle theft and drug offences.

Both men were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 26 November.

A 27-year-old female occupant at the unit was also arrested on outstanding warrants.

She was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 26 February.
