A pile of hard rubbish, including a mattress, has been set alight next to peak-time traffic in central Dandenong.
CFA crews were called to the fire outside 64 Stud Road about 5pm on Monday 21 January.
It was extinguished, halting it from spreading to the neighbouring front yard.
