Man dies after shooting

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Springvale on Sunday night, 10 March.

Emergency services were called to Springvale Road about 11.50pm after reports of a single gun-shot.

A man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located suffering a gunshot wound.

Ambulance crews attended but the man died at the scene.

Police believe the two parties are known to one another.

At this stage of the investigation, police don’t believe this incident is linked to the other shootings in Melbourne this month.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
