Intruders attack man with hammer

A man in his 50s has been reportedly bashed with a hammer during an aggravated burglary in Francesco Drive, Dandenong North.

Two unknown male intruders fled on foot from the home after the attack about 2.25pm on Monday 25 March, Victoria Police say.

The victim was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The attackers were described by the victim as Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance.

One of the men was said to be aged about 30 with short hair, the other was bearded.
