Man stabbed by boarding-house robbers

A 44-year-old man has been stabbed by four male intruders in his room at a boarding house in Power Street, Dandenong.

During the intrusion, the man refused an offender’s request for a cigarette about 4am on Friday 26 April.

He was stabbed by one of the males, suffering serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to The Alfred hospital.

The group rifled through the victim’s room and other parts of the boarding house.

Another resident was confronted by the group, who made demands for cash and his wallet.
