Having a ball

Kids and families flocked to Noble Park Football Club for a free family fun night on 17 July.

Western Bulldogs premiership hero Liam Picken was the star attraction at the Patterson Cheney Toyota ‘Good for Footy’ event.

All the rest was a flurry of footballs – some headed for the handball target, others as part of footy games and an obstacle course.

Visitors took the chance to soar high over the pack as they scaled a rock-climbing wall. While others snagged food from the free barbie.

Diving, usually a no-no on the field, was particularly popular at the Dunk The Coach event.

There was no shortage of young volunteers lining up to aim balls at the dunking machine, and plunge their coaches into its icy waters.
