An emergency advice warning has been issued after fire engulfed a Dandenong panel-beating workshop.
Five CFA appliances were sent to the blaze in the roof of the factory in Short Street about 3pm.
The fire was brought under control by 3.19pm on Wednesday 21 August.
The CFA issued an advice message for people to avoid the area, and to be aware of smoke in Dandenong, Keysborough and Noble Park.
Short Street has been closed while fire crews are on the scene.
