Police say the robber approached and tried to snatch a phone from the victim’s hand in a shopping strip on McCrae Street, Dandenong about 6pm on Tuesday 19 November.

During a struggle, the woman grabbed the phone and walked away.

The teen followed and was verbally threatened by the offender, police say.
