Dandenong ‘sparring’ turns into bashing

A man in his 20s was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was bashed in Wagstaff Lane, Dandenong.

Police said the victim, from Frankston, had been “sparring” with another Sudanese man about 5.17pm on March 16 when the conflict “escalated in violence”. The victim’s condition was listed as stable late last week.
