Police hunt suspect as Springvale residents urged indoors

By Cameron Lucadou-Wells

RESIDENTS in Springvale South are being told to stay inside while police conduct a dog and aerial search for a man involved in an alleged aggravated burglary.

Police are searching the area of Wardale Road, Olympic Avenue, Levin Street, Bellview Court, Woodstock Place and Belinda Court for the man.

The search follows a reported aggravated burglary in Langwarrin today and reports of a car chase in Springvale South.

‘‘Police ask all residents in that vicinity to please remain indoors to allow the police canine unit to properly search the area,’’ a police spokeswoman said.
