Premier League: Victory to play Dandenong

A-League soccer club Melbourne Victory will play in Dandenong on August 14.

The city-based side is preparing for the upcoming A-League season with a series of friendlies against State League clubs.

The Victory will play Victorian Premier League club Dandenong Thunder at George Andrews Reserve, Dandenong at 7.30pm. The Victory drew big crowds to recent matches in Oakleigh and Port Melbourne.

Thunder star Luke Sherbon continued his scoring hot streak with two goals in the Thunder’s 3-1 win over Northcote City at George Andrews Reserve on Saturday night.

Speedy striker Nate Foster added the third goal for the Thunder, who face a must-win FFV State Knockout Cup clash with Cobram Victory tomorrow at 7.30pm.
