Fines issued from two red-light cameras in Dandenong may be overturned.
The sites at the corner of Heatherton and Gladstone roads, Dandenong North, and Foster and McCrae streets, Dandenong, will be subject to a review by Road Safety Camera Commissioner Gordon Lewis.
After a VicRoads audit of red-light cameras, it was found the timing of the Dandenong North amber lights had been incorrectly set since December 2004. The Foster Street lights’ timing had been wrong since October 2010.
Mr Lewis will decide how many fines at the sites will be overturned. The cameras have been in working order since September 26.
