VPL: Thunder signings

Dandenong Thunder will again push for the Victorian Premier League title after re-signing star striker Nate Foster and winger Liam Kearney while also signing respected utility Steven Topalovic from VPL club Richmond. Kearney, an Irish left footer who regularly scores goals, will return for his third season at the Thunder, while Topalovic will add versatility and hardness to the Thunder’s defence, where he can fill any position or play as a defensive midfielder. Topalovic also won Richmond’s best and fairest award last season. The Thunder have also signed Melbourne Heart youth league player Zac Walker, who crosses over from rivals Oakleigh Cannons, where he made several starts last season.
