Witnesses wanted

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a robbery and two serious assaults.
On 13 December about 11.45pm up to three men brandishing metal weapons entered a home in Ascot Court, Dandenong North, and assaulted the occupant.
The 33-year-old man suffered three large lacerations to his head and was taken by ambulance to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
On 16 December about 2.45pm a man in a red singlet, bone-coloured pants and a black beanie approached a 15-year-old boy near Dandenong Plaza’ McCrae Street entrance, demanded he hand over his phone and threatened to assault him. The boy co-operated and was unharmed.
About 5.20pm the same day on Potter Street, Dandenong, a verbal altercation between two Dandenong men, aged 25 and 26, and a small group of youths took place.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said the group left but returned a short time later with a “posse” of about 15 youths aged 17 to 18 of Caucasian, African and Pacific Islander appearance.
They chased the pair into a unit complex and seriously assaulted them with available materials including a chair frame, broom and pram.
Their injuries included a broken nose, bruising, chipped and broken teeth, and lacerations but they refused medical treatment.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with information on any of the incidents.
