Phone tip on missing Noble Park man

Greater Dandenong detectives are hoping new clues may help them solve the mystery disappearance seven years ago of a Noble Park grandfather. A recent anonymous call to Crime Stoppers has helped police compile a face image fitting the description a “person of interest” for an investigation into the disappearance of Mahalingham Sinnathamby, 68, who was last seen at a doctor’s appointment in Hull Road, Carrum Downs, about 9.50am on August 25, 2005. His disappearance was not reported to police for three months.
